Service Controller\n\nMonday to Friday | Day Shift\n\nUp to £35,000 + bonus + excellent benefits\n\nJoin a Global Leader in Construction Plant Equipment\n\nWe are recruiting for an experienced and highly organised Service Controller to join a world-leading manufacturer of construction plant equipment.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to become part of a professional and fast-paced service operation where you will play a key role in coordinating engineers, supporting customers, and ensuring industry-leading service delivery.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Service Controller, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the service department, ensuring engineers are effectively scheduled and customers receive exceptional support.\n\nYou will act as a central point of communication between customers, field service engineers, and internal departments to ensure all service work is completed efficiently, safely, and within agreed timeframes.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Coordinate and schedule field service engineers across multiple locations\n\n * Manage service enquiries, breakdowns, and maintenance requests\n\n * Liaise with customers to provide updates on engineer attendance and job progress\n\n * Monitor job completion, service response times, and engineer utilisation\n\n * Raise and process service documentation, quotations, and work orders\n\n * Ensure parts availability and coordinate with the parts department where required\n\n * Maintain accurate service records and system updates\n\n * Support warranty claims and service reporting processes\n\n * Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and company standards\n\n * Deliver a high level of customer service at all times\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\n * Previous experience in a Service Controller, Service Coordinator, or similar role\n\n * Experience within construction plant, heavy equipment, powered access, commercial vehicles, agriculture, or related industries is highly desirable\n\n * Strong organisational and scheduling skills\n\n * Excellent communication and customer service abilities\n\n * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment\n\n * Good IT skills including service management systems and Microsoft Office\n\n * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\n * Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Competitive salary package\n\n * Performance-related bonus\n\n * Company pension scheme\n\n * Private healthcare\n\n * Ongoing training and career development\n\n * Opportunity to work with a globally recognised industry leader\n\n * Modern working environment with supportive team culture\n\n * Long-term career progression opportunities\n\nApply Today\n\nIf you are an organised and customer-focused service professional looking to join a market-leading manufacturer within the construction plant industry, we would love to hear from you.\n\nSubmit your CV today to be considered for this exciting opportunity
