Senior Estimator\n Location: North West London (office based)\n\nAre you confident pricing complex refurbishment schemes where information is incomplete?\n Do you understand façades, fire remediation and the realities of working in occupied buildings?\n Ready to step into a high-impact senior role with real influence over commercial strategy?\n\nI'm working with a growing contractor delivering technically complex projects across London and the South East. They're looking for a Senior Estimator to take ownership of high-value, high-risk schemes within a regulated environment.\n\nThis is not a standard estimating role - you'll be pricing projects driven by compliance, evolving design, and the Building Safety Act. Project types are generally cladding and facade remediation, refurbishment, heritage and HRBs.\n\nWhat you'll be doing\n\nLeading the full estimating process from feasibility through to tender submission\nProducing detailed cost plans, tenders and risk allowances\nInterpreting fire strategies, façade remediation scopes and technical methodologies\nBuilding robust pricing models across complex, compliance-led works\nEngaging with specialist subcontractors and supply chain partners\nDriving commercial strategy, value engineering and risk mitigation\nSupporting bid strategy, programme assumptions and delivery planning\nWhat we're looking for\n\nProven experience as a Senior Estimator within refurbishment, façades or fire remediation\nStrong understanding of existing buildings and compliance-led construction\nExperience pricing complex projects with incomplete or evolving design information\nCommercially sharp with confident decision-making ability\nExposure to Building Safety Regulator processes or HRBs (desirable, not essential)\nWhat's on offer\n\nSalary up to £100,000 depending on experience\nStructured development into BSR and HRB environments\nExposure to Gateway processes and emerging best practice\nLong-term career progression within a growing, specialist contractor\nA genuinely challenging role where your input shapes project success\nIf you're looking to move into a more technical, high-profile estimating role where no two projects are the same, this is worth a conversation.\n\nFor more details, contact Vekshana\n\nAldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
