Project Engineer

Manpower has an exciting opportunity for a number of Project Engineers to join our Client a leading provider of integrated avionics, engines, systems and service solutions for aircraft manufacturers, airlines, military space and airport operations based in Yeovil.

We are looking for experienced and motivated individuals to work as part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within the Aerospace. You will be working on complex aerospace engineering projects across a wide variety of remits including environmental control, hydraulics and life support systems.

The successful candidates will create project plans, schedules and milestones to customer expectations using value metrics, you will monitor and maintain project plans ensuring focus is maintained to milestone adherence to ensure projects are delivered on time, create and monitor the progress of work packages for internal suppliers to support technical and schedule adherence as well as ensuring that projects run within cost, quality and time metrics.

The ideal candidate will have a HND/HNC/Degree in mechanical engineering/ aerospace, previous experience of working withing a project environment with an understanding of the engineering lifecycle of a product conception to commission and a strong understanding and experience of working with suppliers and integrated supply chains and how they fit into the project lifecycle.

All successful candidates must be able to pass a DBS check and drug screening.
