Primary Teacher - KS2 - Lewisham \n\nLocation: Lewisham \nPay: £180 - £220 per day\nContract: Full-time, Long term \n\nWhen: ASAP start \n\nA supportive and community-focused Primary school in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join their team. This full-time position is ideal for a compassionate educator looking to make a lasting difference in the lives of KS2 pupils. \n\nThe Primary Teacher Role\n\nAs a Primary Teacher in this welcoming Lewisham Primary school, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual learning needs of KS1 pupils with ASD and complex learning needs.

You will work closely with the school's multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to help each child build confidence, communication, and independence.\n\nThe successful Primary Teacher will bring creativity, empathy, and adaptability to the role, creating a nurturing classroom where pupils can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.\n\nAbout the School\n\nThis inclusive Primary school in Lewisham caters for children aged 4-19 with a range of additional learning and communication needs. With small class sizes, excellent facilities, and a strong focus on personalised education, the school provides a caring and therapeutic environment where every child is valued and supported to achieve their potential.\n\nPrimary Teacher Responsibilities\n\nDeliver and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with ASD and complex learning needs.\n\nCreate and implement individual learning plans to promote communication and independence.\n\nCollaborate with Speech and Language Therapists, SENCOs, and other professionals.\n\nMonitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring learning goals are met.\n\nFoster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.\n\nPrimary Teacher Requirements\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.\n\nExperience teaching primary aged students\n\nStrong understanding of inclusive teaching and communication strategies.\n\nExcellent teamwork, empathy, and classroom management skills.\n\nA passion for helping every child achieve their best.\n\nRemedy Education:\n\nAt Remedy Education we work closely with a large network of Nurseries, Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across England.
