Lead Solar Electrician

The work is mainly domestic, with some smaller commercial projects, and typically stays within a 90-minute radius of Oxfordshire, meaning very limited overnight travel.\n\nWorking closely with the Installation Manager, you will lead the electrical side of high-quality solar projects, ensuring each installation is safe, compliant and completed to a standard you are proud to put your name to.\n\nWhat you’ll do\n\nYou will oversee AC electrical works on residential solar installations, commission inverters and batteries, troubleshoot technical issues and support the wider site team throughout each project. You will also help document and certify your work, maintaining strong standards around inspection, testing and compliance.\n\nThis is a hands-on leadership role, so you will be expected to lead by example: setting the pace on site, mentoring less experienced colleagues and helping installers develop confidence around best practice.\n\nAbout you\n\nYou will be a qualified electrician with 18th Edition and 2391 Inspection & Testing certification, which is essential for this role.
