Head of Maintenance

We have a new role for a Head of Maintenance to join a Higher Education establishment based in London. This new role will either be paid as a 2 year fixed term contract or on a daily rate. Within this engineering leadership role, you will take ownership for the delivery of maintenance services both via in house teams and contractor management. \n\nThis Head of Maintenance role will include:\n\nManagement of the directly employed maintenance managers and engineers \n\t\nOperational responsibility for engineering services across the University campus\n\t\nContractor management \n\t\nProcess improvement and change management\n\t\nCompliance and health and safety\n\t\nStakeholder management \n\nFor this 2 year Head of Maintenance contract we are looking for:\n\nApprentice trained, M&E qualified, Mechanical or Electrical, multi skilled (this is essential)\n\t\nExperience of managing a multi disciple engineering work force within similar commercial buildings\n\t\nHigher education experience would be hugely advantageous \n\t\nContractor management experience\n\t\nExperience of change management within the public sector\n\nPlease apply now for this new Head of Maintenance interim position
