Senior Site Engineer\n\n📍 Durham\n💰 £32,000 – £36,000 + Van + Excellent Site Package\n\nA well-established ground investigation contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site Engineer to support ongoing projects across the North East region.\n\nThis is a hands-on, fully site-based role suited to someone from a contracting ground investigation background who enjoys managing day-to-day site operations and being actively involved in fieldwork. There are no office-based reporting responsibilities attached to this position.\n\nThe Role\n\n * Supervising ground investigation and drilling activities\n\n * Managing subcontractors and site operations\n\n * Logging soil and rock samples\n\n * Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site\n\n * Working across infrastructure, commercial, and development schemes\n\n * Travelling to projects throughout the region with occasional working away\n\nRequirements\n\n * Minimum 2–3 years’ experience within a site investigation contractor environment\n\n * Strong understanding of ground investigation works\n\n * Experience supervising field operations\n\n * Full UK Manual Driving Licence\n\n * Positive and flexible approach to site work\n\nPackage\n\n * Salary between £32,000 – £36,000\n\n * Company van and fuel card\n\n * Mobile phone and laptop\n\n * 24 days holiday plus bank holidays\n\n * Increased annual leave with service\n\n * 6% contributory pension\n\n * Disruption and subsistence allowances when working away\n\n * Holiday Buy-Back Scheme\n\nAn excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer looking for a long-term role within a busy and growing contractor.\n\nApply now for immediate consideration
