Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, the Electrical/Electronic Engineer will contribute to both new product development and continuous improvement activities across existing platforms.\nKey responsibilities include:\n * Designing and documenting complex electrical and electronic systems and architectures\n * Supporting system integration, testing, validation, and optimisation of prototype tools\n * Preparing technical requirements documentation and managing verification activities\n * Collaborating with mechanical, software, and electrical engineering teams to deliver complete system solutions\n * Supporting interface design including communications, cabling, and component integration\n * Identifying and resolving system design issues to improve product performance and reliability\n * Managing external suppliers and specialist contractors where required\n * Supporting production teams with calibration processes, testing procedures, and technical training\n * Ensuring engineering activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations\nThis role would suit a technically strong Electrical/Electronic Engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and working within a fast-paced development environment. The successful Electrical/Electronic Engineer will have the opportunity to influence future product design while working on highly advanced engineering technologies.\nSkills & Experience:\n * Degree qualified in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.\n * Minimum 5 years’ experience within Electrical/Electronics Engineering.\n * Previous experience within a Systems Engineer position or similar technical role.\n * Strong understanding of electrical and electronic system architecture.\n * Experience with motion control and high-accuracy motion systems.\n * Knowledge of testing, validation, and system integration activities.\n * Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams.\n * Understanding of industry standards and regulatory compliance.\n * Experience with optical systems or PLC systems would be advantageous
