We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical compliance, testing quality, and service delivery across a key regional contract within the property maintenance and refurbishment sector, this will be a permanent opportunity.\n\nThis role is responsible for overseeing electrical operations, ensuring full compliance with NICEIC and BS7671 standards, supporting field operatives, and driving high standards of safety, quality, and customer service. The successful candidate will act as the technical authority for all electrical works across multiple sites.\n\nThis is a hands-on supervisory role requiring strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to manage and support multiple workstreams effectively.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCompliance & Technical Oversight\n\t\nAct as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor for designated contracts\n\t\nReview, validate, and sign off electrical certification\n\t\nEnsure compliance with BS7671 and all relevant electrical legislation\n\t\nMaintain NICEIC accreditation standards and support annual assessments\n\t\nConduct site inspections, audits, and technical evaluations\n\t\nEnsure all electrical works meet safety and quality standards\n\nOperational Supervision\n\nSupervise electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors across multiple sites\n\t\nCoordinate labour allocation and technical resources\n\t\nSupport reactive maintenance and planned works programmes\n\t\nDrive improvements in testing, inspection, diagnostic, and installation standards\n\t\nMonitor first-time fix performance and service delivery quality\n\nTechnical Support & Commercial Input\n\nProvide technical guidance and problem-solving support to site teams\n\t\nAssist with variations, remedial works, and technical submissions\n\t\nSupport estimating, scoping, and pricing activities alongside commercial teams\n\t\nEnsure accurate reporting and use of digital certification systems\n\nStakeholder Management\n\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships with clients, consultants, and internal departments\n\t\nSupport training, mentoring, and development of electrical operatives\n\t\nPromote a strong safety culture and champion safe working practices at all times\n\nEssential Experience\n\nProven experience working as an NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor\n\t\nStrong background in electrical testing, inspection, and maintenance\n\t\nExperience supervising electrical operatives across multiple sites\n\t\nExperience reviewing and signing off electrical certification\n\t\nKnowledge of domestic and social housing electrical works\n\t\nStrong understanding of BS7671 and electrical compliance requirements\n\nSkills & Competencies\n\nStrong diagnostic and fault-finding ability\n\t\nExcellent leadership and communication skills\n\t\nGood organisational and workload management skills\n\t\nConfident decision-maker with a proactive approach\n\t\nCompetent using digital reporting and certification systems\n\nEssential:\n\nNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)\n\t\nCity & Guilds 18th Edition\n\t\nCity & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing\n\t\nSSSTS\n\t\nCSCS Card\n\t\nFull UK Driving Licence
