Broker Technician - Credit and Political Violence

City of London - Hybrid

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Monitoring policies through the Action Point system

  2. Calculating policy premiums, including requesting figures from clients and reviewing or producing Excel spreadsheets

  3. Drafting policy endorsements, including expiry and semi-annual premium adjustments

  4. Binding endorsements with company insurers

  5. Preparing cover bound emails

  6. Raising worksheets

  7. Updating policy files

  8. Managing files, including email and document management

  9. Uploading documents to extranet libraries

  10. Uploading emails to the EAC system and applying relevant tags

  11. Preparing Acceptance Checklist files

  12. Preparing files for AC Surgery and submitting them accordingly

  13. Chasing overdue premiums, liaising with the accounts department, and amending SDDs

  14. Providing general broker support

  15. Maintaining pipeline (revenue report) data in Excel

  16. Maintaining and applying PPL knowledge

  1. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with strong numerical ability

  2. Excellent attention to detail and proven record-keeping skills within a systems-focused environment

  5. Able to use initiative and manage multiple challenges effectively

  6. Comfortable interacting with clients daily to handle general enquiries
